Insert the brake hose starting from the ICR port on the chainstay near the rear brake mount (A). Continue running the hose under the bottom bracket shell, then run it up the down tube, then
pull it out the non-drive side ICR port.
Fig.1:
To prevent rattle, install a foam sleeve (Churro) over the brake hose and guide it into the down tube.
Fig.2:
Install Hood Scoop 4 over the brake hose and guide it against the ICR port cavity. Tighten the Hood Scoop bolt to 6 in-lbf / 0.7 Nm.
DROPPER SEATPOST:
Installation of a dropper seatpost housing is like the brake hose routing, except it starts at the Hood Scoop ICR port instead of the chainstay.
If a dropper seatpost is being installed, run a section of shifter housing into the drive side down tube ICR port until it reaches the bottom bracket opening.
Fig.1:
To prevent rattle, install a Churro over the housing and guide it into the down tube while running the housing over the bottom bracket and up the seat tube.
Fig.2:
Install Hood Scoop 3 over the housing and guide it against the ICR port cavity. Tighten the Hood Scoop to 6 in-lbf / 0.7 Nm.
Install the seatpost according to the seatpost manufacturer’s instructions.

MECHANICAL SHIFTING:
For the drive side, choose Hood Scoop 2 or 3, depending on if a dropper seatpost is being installed or not.
Install a section of shifter cable housing and ferrules between the shifter and the Hood Scoop, then run a shift cable through the shifter and housing until it exits at the bottom bracket opening.
If a front shifter/derailleur is being installed, follow the same steps as for the rear derailleur setup, but on the drive side.
Fig.3:
Run the shifter cable(s) through the bottom bracket cable guide.
Guide the rear derailleur cable into the drive side chainstay and out the ICR port at the dropout.
Guide the front derailleur cable (if installed) up through the small ICR port above the bottom bracket shell.
Attach the cable(s) to the derailleur(s) according to the drivetrain manufacturer’s instructions.
ELECTRONIC SHIFTING:
Choose the drive side Hood Scoop that corresponds to the desired shift and/or seatpost setup (see Hood Scoop table).
Refer to the drivetrain manufacturer’s instructions related to installing electronic shift wires and the battery, then install the section of wire that goes into the down tube. The wire will enter
through the large port on the non-drive-side Hood Scoop 4, next to the brake hose.
Fig.4:
Once the rear derailleur wire exits the dropout, run the plug through the hole in the ICR port cable guide, then place the wire in the groove. Place the cable guide in the ICR port hole,
then tighten the bolt to 6 in-lbf / 0.7 Nm.
NOTE:
A foam sleeve is provided to place the battery at the base of the inside of the down tube, provided an external charging port is available. The battery can also be installed in the
seatpost if a dropper seatpost isn’t being used.
If a dropper seatpost is being installed, use Hood Scoop 3. If not, use Hood Scoop 1.
