Your Riprock is fitted with a gear shifter mounted on the right side of the handlebar with 2 

levers used to change to a higher or lower gear.

The upper lever shifts your bicycle into a lower gear (A) and the lower lever shifts your 

bicycle into a higer gear (B).

WARNING: Your child should practice safe operation of the gears in a 

controlled environment away from traffic and obstacles.

6: Brakes: 

The brakes are preadjusted and aligned out of the box. If the brake rotors or 

calipers are misaligned, please visit your Authorized Specialized Retailer. Check the brake 
pads periodically for wear. If the brake pads need to be replaced but you do not have 

experience replacing brake pads, please see you Authorized Specialized Retailer.

7: Handlebar: 

Ensure the stem and handlebar are properly aligned and the bolts are 

properly tightened.

Regularly inspect your bicycle to ensure there is no damage to any of the components. 
Replace any worn or damaged components or have them replaced by your Authorized 

Specialized Retailer.
