Setting Up & Adjustment
Height
Cutting height adjustment is achieved by raising or lowering the wheels.
Lowering the wheels produces a longer cut, raising the wheels leaves a
shorter cut. Always set machine level front to rear and side to side.
The weight of the machine should be equally distributed between the tractor
and the wheels. When set properly this should prevent scalping.
Lengthen top link to ensure
cables are slack, this will allow
machine to float over ground
contours.
Adjust rear wheels to
set cutting height
ensure skids are
above the ground
Raise tractor lower links to
set the front of mower level
or above.
