• Switch on the TV set/monitor and the Blu-ray player; start up the converter using the provided wall plug
transformer (the Power LED of the converter must light up).
• Select the proper input on the TV set/monitor.
• If the Blu-ray player has various outputs, check in the set-up menu of the Blu-ray player whether the proper
output is activated.
• To play back copy-protected films, the TV set/monitor should support HDCP standard.
Upon connection of a new monitor/TV set during operation, video loss occurs on the other monitor/
TV set (black image)
• This is normal.
• If the image remains black, switch all devices off and back on or unplug the converter from the wall plug
transformer for a few seconds.
No sound
• Select a different audio mode (if necessary, switch the converter briefly off and on afterward).
• The TV set/monitor is connected via a DVI cable and an adapter. No sound signal is transferred through
DVI connection.
Always use an HDMI-compatible connection to connect a monitor/TV set.
If a TV set/monitor has only a DVI connection (and no HDMI), do not connect it at HDMI Output 1 when
using “Pass” mode.
• A recording device that does not support HDCP is connected to the converter. Remove this device from
the converter and unplug the converter from the wall plug transformer for a few seconds.
No 3D display
• The playback device and the TV sets/monitors connected to the converter must support the same video
format.
• Check whether the playback device and monitors/TV sets support 3D and an appropriate movie is played
back. Check whether the 3D function of the Blu-ray player is enabled.
• Use a high-quality HDMI cable.
Problems with detection of a new monitor/TV set
• Unplug the converter from the wall plug transformer for a few seconds.
• Check the cable connection between the converter and the TV set/monitor.
• Use a high-quality HDMI cable. This applies particularly with higher resolutions (3D).
