MIDI I - this option allows you to send MTC to MIDI port
1 so as to feed a sequencer
Of
tape machine. MTC to MIDI
port 1 is turned on as follows:
1. Select Timecode
from the set up menu and press EN-
TER.
2. Select the MIDI 1 OFF option using the rotary dial.
3. Press the right cursor key
4. Select ON with the rotary dial.
5. Press ENTER to keep the setting or EXIT to lose the
setting.
MIDI 2 _ this option allows you to send MTC to MIDI port
2 so as to feed a sequencer or tape machine. MTC to MIDI
port 2 is turned on as follows:
1. Select Timecode
from the set up menu and press EN-
TER.
2. Select the MIDI 2 OFF option using the rotary dial.
3 Press the right cursor key
4. Select ON with the rotary diaL
5. Press ENTER to keep the setting or EXIT to lose the
setting.

Standard
- there are 4 different stanc;lardtypes ofMTC.
These are:
24 frames per second
Film standard
25 frames per second
European standard (TV)
30 frames per second
US (MONO)
30 frames per second (drop frame) US (co,louS)"
The Solo Logic's internal generator can-be set ,to'generate

any of the four standards but the default setting is 25 fps,
which is the most commonly used. If you are working with
film or video you may be required to use another standard.
The timecode standard always refers to t~e gener.ator and has
no effect on external code coming in.
