Mounting

RACK REQUIREMENTS

The SOUND4 BIG VOICE² - Base mounts in a standard 19-inch equipment rack and requires

only 1¾ inches (1U) of vertical rack space. In order the painted finish around the mounting holes

to be protected, the use of plastic washers is recommended.

HEAT DISSIPATION

Having very low electricity consumption, the SOUND4 BIG VOICE² - Base itself generates

negligible heat. The unit is intended for operation within an ambient temperature range, extending

from freezing to 120°F/50°C. But because adjacent, less efficient equipment may radiate substantial

heat, be sure that the equipment rack is adequately ventilated to keep its internal temperature

below the specified maximum ambient.

FUSE HOLDER

The fuse holder is placed inside the unit, next to the voltage selector. Apply downward pressure

and pull the cap outward to access the 5mm mains fuse. The reverse process will release the cap.
