Mounting to a Camera or Tripod

All MixPre II Series recorders have ¼-inch, 20-threaded screw mounts on their top and bottom panels for mounting to gear.

To attach your MixPre II between a camera and tripod:

1.

Remove the battery sled to gain access to the back panel.

2.

Retrieve the anti-rotation pin and Allen wrench. Both are

magnetically held in place in the back panel.

4.

From the MixPre II’s bottom panel, insert the Allen wrench into the mounting screw hole and push up to reveal the
retractable screw. Rotate

5.

to screw the MixPre II into place underneath the camera.

6.

Align the mounting screw hole on the bottom panel of the MixPre II with the screw on the tripod plate. Rotate the screw on
the tripod plate until the MixPre II is affixed.

If your camera has a slot for the anti-rotation pin, screw the pin into place on top of the MixPre II, and then position the MixPre II
against the bottom of the camera so that the pin fits into the camera’s slot. The anti-rotation pin may also be screwed into a tripod
and slotted into the bottom of the MixPre II.
