6.4 

Setting up the Library 

 

BIOS setting for RAID 6 

 

1) Go to 

Server Manager -> Storage -> Disk Management

, select GPT formatting 

when it appears. 

2)  Right Click on first disk on storage -> New 

simple volume.

 

3)  Select the 8x 2TB disks and add to the selected box. 

4)  Assign the drive a Letter               

D:\

 

5)  Format to NTFS, Default Allocation Unit Size, Label: 

Library1 

(select Quick 

Format). Select “Yes” when prompted about OS not being able to start (this is 

regards to formatting the OS drive). 

 

6.5 TMS 

Licensing 

The TMS will not be licensed.  

To License the TMS 

  Sony will provide you with a TMS installation key. Contact Sony Account 

manager with the TMS Team Mac Address.

  To obtain a mac address 

o

  Run a command prompt window 

o

 Type 

ipconfig/all 

o

  Record the Physical (MAC) address listed next to the TMS Team 

  TMS Installation key is a 16 digit alphanumeric code 

  Go to C:\Program Files\Sony\TMS 

  Open tmslicense file using Notepad 

  Type the installation Key next to the “signature=”
