Select [Clear Phase™ ] - [On] if you use the “Clear Phase” function.
Hint
Select [Other Headphones] to use headphones that do not support the
noise canceling function. You cannot change the [Clear Phase™ ]
setting nor activate the noise canceling function while [Other
Headphones] is selected.

Selecting Headphones
Optimizing the sound characteristics
The [Clear Phase™ ] function optimizes the sound characteristics for the
headphones you use. The compatible headphones for this product are
MDR-NW750N/MDR-NW750NE.
From the Home menu, select
[Settings].

Select [Select Headphones] - [MDR-NW750N/NE] - [On].

Note
The [Clear Phase™ ] function does not work with headphone
connected via the Bluetooth function.
[Select Headphones] - [Clear Phase™ ] cannot be set when the
[Cle] function is turned on. Turn the [Cle] function off
before setting the [Clear Phase™ ] function.
The [Clear Phase™ ] function does not have any effect on the sound of
videos, video podcasts or FM radio.
