Make sure to remove the headphones from your ears before you
connect or disconnect the headphones from your Walkman. If the
headphones are connected or disconnected from the Walkman during
playback or while the noise canceling function is active, noise may be
generated. This is not a malfunction.
When changing the [Noise Canceling: On/Off] setting, a switching
sound will be generated. This sound is generated by switching of the
noise canceling circuit, and is not a malfunction.

Selecting a noise canceling environment
You can set the noise canceling function most effective for the
environment you are in by using noise canceling headphones and
selecting the type of ambient noise.
The noise canceling function is available only with noise canceling
headphones. The noise canceling headphones that are compatible with
this product are MDR-NW750N/MDR-NW750NE.
From the Home menu, select
[Noise Canceling].

Select [Select NC Environment] - desired setting.

When you select [Full-auto AINC], your Walkman analyzes the ambient
sound immediately and sets the most effective noise canceling mode
automatically.
