POSITION, and PICTURE MUTING.
Note that the Current Function is a 3D FUNCTION.
Test Pattern (Select)
A number of Test Patterns are available for use during the
IMAGE POSITION adjustment process. Generally, these
are specific to adjusting the projector for presentation of
3D content. Additional Test Patterns for general projector
alignment are available when the Projection Type is set to
2D.
To select a specific Test Pattern, tap Test Pattern on the
ADJUSTMENT pane. The TEST PATTERNS popup
appears. Patterns available are:
• OFF
•
RED1, GREEN1 and BLUE1 (all 3D)
• GRAY-2 FULL, GRAY-8 FULL and GRAY-10 FULL
(20%, 80% and 100% white, Full Screen)
• GRAY-8, GRAY-10, (3D) and FRAME ADJUST
• PRISM ADJUST , CONVERGENCE ADJUST and
CONTRAST ADJUST

To select the Test
Pattern image, tap
Menu , tap
Projector , tap
Adjustment, and
then tap Test
Pattern. The TEST
PATTERN popup
appears.
Note: When making a Test Pattern selection, other
Projector Settings remain unchanged but the selected test
pattern appears on the screen.
Insure that OFF is selected when adjustments are
complete.
Image Position (3D) Adjustment
Note: Image Position Adjustments can only be performed
in 3D mode and should not be attempted by anyone not
fully familiar with the process.
Adjusting the image position is a new function related to
support of 3D (stereoscopic) presentation. Image Position
adjustment has been introduced to support alignment of the
right-eye/left-eye images. Access to Image Position is
Role restricted.
Note: Prior to performing Image Position Adjustment set
the Projector to ON mode, set Projection Type to 3D and
select the appropriate 3D FUNCTION. Allow a minimum
of 30 minutes warm-up to insure that the imaging devices
have reach their operating temperature.
To perform Image Position adjustment, tap Image
Position on the ADJUSTMENT pane. The Image Position
Adjustment screen appears.
Adjustments made during the Image Position Adjust
process are applied immediately to the projector. You must
be able to view the auditorium screen in detail as picture
movement is in pixel increments.

To realize the Image Position adjustment process, use
the appropriate
Plus or Minus button to
properly position the images as observed on the
auditorium screen.
The adjustment range is;
• L&R eye
Horizontal: -70 to +70
Vertical: -20 to +20 or -120 to +120
