Turn on the main power of the HSR-1/1P.

An alarm sounds. Press the
[STOP]
key.

Press the S1 (Reset) switch on RM-184 board and
insert a cassette.

Set the HOLD switch of the adjustment remote
commander to the ON position.
Note: Refer section “6-1-6. Description of
Adjustment Remote Commander Jig (J-11)”
for the procedure to use the adjustment
remote commander.

Connect an oscilloscope to CN775 on the RP-228
board via the RF-94 jig (J-15).
Oscilloscope channel 1: TP2 of RF-94 jig
Oscilloscope external trigger: TP1 of RF-94 jig

Set data : 07 to page : 3, address : 3C.

Set the HOLD switch of the adjustment remote
commander to the OFF position.

Playback the tracking alignment tape (XH2-1) (J-5).

Confirm that both the entrance and exit sides of the RF
envelope are flat on oscilloscope.
Note: When the RF envelope is not flat, adjust it
referring to the flow chart as shown on page
6-45.

When the RF envelope check is complete, set the
HOLD switch of the adjustment remote commander to
the ON position.

Turn off the main power of the HSR-1/1P/2/2P.

Remove the jig and measuring equipment. Connect the
system as before.

Turn on the main power of HSR-1/1P/2/2P and remove
the tracking alignment tape (XH2-1) (J-5) by ejecting
it.
