Preparations
1)
Connect the equipment for adjustments according to Fig. 3-1-2.
System requirements of the PC:
OS:
Windows Me/XP (Windows XP is recommended)
USB: USB2.0
USB1.1 (only for “USB 1.1 Confirmation Check”)
Firmware upgrading requirement
When either the PWB Assy or the HDD is replaced, implement the
firmware upgrading.
Note:
If the HDD is formatted, or if a battery is replaced, firmware
upgrading is not necessary.
Preparations:
Note:
Contact your service headquarter of each area how to get the
“Software for HDPS-M10”, “HDPS10-Photo/Manual (DVD-
ROM)”.
1)
Copy the “Line Soft for HDPS-M10” folder of the “Software
for HDPS-M10” to the desk top or arbitrary folder of the PC.
2)
Open the ms folder of the FC1-testfiles folder, and copy
“trf_file” to a MemoryStick PRO.
3)
Open the cf folder of the FC1-testfiles folder, and copy “trf_file”
to a CompactFlash.
4)
Open the md folder of the FC1-testfiles folder, and copy
“trf_file” to a Microdrive.
