Replacement of Main Parts
2-1. Replacing the Main Parts
Be sure to perform the following operation when replacing
or removing the main parts.

Turn off the main power and disconnect the plug from
the outlet.

Wait for at least three minutes before starting replace-
ment, because even after turning off the power, a high
voltage remains in the machine that could cause electric
shock.
2-1-1. Replacing the Power Supply Unit

are critical to safe operation. If
you replace with parts other than the specified ones, a fire
or electric shock may result from that.

When repairing or replacing the power supply block, set
the voltage. If the voltage is set incorrectly, a fire or
electric shock may result from that.

When repairing or replacing the power supply block, set
to the same power supply voltage as that of repair work
bench.
. When delivering to the user, adjust the power supply
voltage to suit the user.
Two types of power supply units possible to install in this
unit, and parts replacement and voltage selector setting are
different for each type.
This section describes replacement method for the follow-
ing items.
. Switching regulator (1-468-945-21)

Power block assembly (A10) (A-1768-444-A)

When the switching regulator has been replaced with a
power block assembly (A10)
Gently remove or attach the power supply unit holding it
by hand.
Otherwise, the power supply unit may fall, causing an
injury.

1. Remove the front panel.
2. Remove the four screws and remove the flexible card
wire from the connector J8.
3. Remove the PS panel assembly.
4. Disconnect the harnesses from the switching regulator
board connectors J5, J6, and J7.
5. Remove the switching regulator from HDCU3300 in
the direction of the arrow.
