2. Removing connector from brush

assembly

Remove the connector from the brush assembly.

3. Removing the full top sensor

assembly

Remove the precision screw. While removing the
connector on the MDC-13G board, remove the
full top sensor assembly.

When removing the full top sensor assembly, be
very careful not to touch the drum.

4. Removing the drum assembly

n

The drum assembly is fixed by the two screws.
The drum assembly is connected with the MDR-
14G board on the rear of the mechanical deck
with connector. Due to these connections, do not
put excessive force to the drum assembly even
after the two screws are removed.

When removing the drum assembly, be careful
not to touch the CTL head, CUE head and nearby
tape guides.

Remove the two screws. Hold the upper part of
the brush support. While loosening the connector
on the MDR-14G board, remove the drum
assembly.
