Overview
When installed on the PDW-510/510P/
530/530P Professional Disc
Camcorder

, the CBK-PC01 Memory
Card Adaptor allows you to record
proxy data (in this manual “proxy data”
refers to both proxy AV data and
metadata such as titles, comments, and
essence marks) to a memory card
(Memory Stick PRO, Compact Flash,
etc) inserted into the CBK-PC01.
You can then insert the memory card
into a computer with the PDZ-1 Proxy
Browsing Software

installed and
import the proxy data from the PDZ-1
to review the proxy AV data and
modify or add metadata. You can also
create clip lists.
1) The CBK-PC01 is supported by PDW-510/
510P/530/530P camcorders with firmware
version 1.4 or later. Contact a Sony service
representative if your PDW-510/510P/530/
530P has an earlier firmware version.
2) Proxy data operations are supported by
PDZ-1 version 1.4. or later. Contact a Sony
service representative if you have an earlier
version.

• Memory cards other than the
recommended products may not be
recognized by the camcorder.
• PC card adaptors other than this
Memory Card Adaptor are not
supported. Do not use such adaptors.
• The recording time is approximately
60 minutes per 1 GB, but it may be
shorter depending on memory card
usage. Check the remaining memory
before recording
(see page 18) .
Precaution
Incorrect installation of this unit can
cause fire, shock, or other accidents,
possibly resulting in bodily injury or
damage to peripheral equipment.
