3-4-4. Replacing the IR/UV Cut Filter
Removal
1. Turn OFF the AC power supplied to the FVS-1000.

Be sure to turn off the AC power supplied to the FVS-1000
first before proceeding with the work due to the risk of
electrical hazards.
2. Remove the gate base (35) assembly.
(Refer to section 3-2-1.)
3. Loosen the four screws, and pull out the lamp house
assembly. (Refer to section 3-2-1.)
4. Remove the lamp house cover.
(Refer to section 3-4-1.)
5. Remove the two screws (PSW3 x 6), and remove the
IR/UV cut filter together with the filter holder.
6. Remove the screw (P1.4
x
1.6), and remove the filter
holder (B).
7. Loosen the four screws securing the filter holder by
one to several rounds.
8. Pull out the IR/UV cut filter, and replace with the new
filter.

The front and rear sides of the filter are the same.
Installation
9. Perform the reverse of steps 1 to 7 of the removal
procedure.
