Assembly instructions:
•
Place Thermal pad on center of heat sink, making sure to align screw holes.
•
Attach module to standoff and heat sink using 5/16" screws in eight positions. Six are placed along the
perimeter of the board, the remaining two are under the hexagon shield can.
•
Attach 40-conductor to 40-conductor ribbon cable to JP2 and the module.
Note
: Components under shield cans are sensitive to ESD and should be handled with
appropriate measures.
2.3 System
Requirements
The system requirements are:
•
Personal Computer (PC) or unit compatible for RS232 communications.
•
An unused serial port (COM1…. COM4) for communication between the developer's board and the PC.
•
A second serial port may also be required for additional functionality.
•
A terminal program such as HyperTerminal, Kermit, Procomm, etc …
