7 Webpages & Local Display Settings (Mix Engine)
Audio Config -> VM Sources Web Page
This web page allows the user to setup the 8
virtual mixers on a mix engine. Select the VM you
wish to change from the VM Select: dropdown
list, and then press the edit button associated
with the source you wish to setup. This will open a
dialog, where you can select the input source and
the various parameters that may be associated
with it.
These 3 dialogs show the 3 different source
selections available. The first is pretty self-
explanatory as the VM source is unused and will
contain no audio. Levels will continue to be
indicated on the MPPR and MPTR but will
obviously have no effect on the mixed output.
The second dialog will choose a physical analogue
audio input from the back of the mix engine.
There are 3 connectors each with 8 audio inputs
to choose from – these are imaginatively
numbered 1-24. The actual text here can be
changed in the Physical Audio Setup web page to
reflect the actual connection
Finally, there is the ability to select AoIP sources.
This lists all the streams that are available on the
network and that have been authorised as valid. It
is then necessary to select the actual channel that
you wish to use from that stream. Most of the
time the streams will have a channel count of
2 or 8.
