INSTALLATION
1. Mount support bracket firmly on a level surface such as a desktop. Desirable surface thickness:12 to 60 mm.
2. Slide lamp pin into bracket hole.
3. Connect lamp to power source and turn it on. (Always keep dust guard closed down when lamp is out of use.)
MAINTENANCE
Replacement of the lighting tube
1. Turn off lamp and disconnect from power source.
2. Let light tube cool off.
3. Unscrew the 8 screws from the transparent lid.
4. Remove the transparent lid.
5. Carefully slide light tube from out of the 4-pole receptacle.
6. Replace the lighting tube with an identical type, then screw back the transparent lid.
Replacement of the magnifying lens
1. Turn off lamp and disconnect from power source.
2. Let light tube cool off.
3. Unscrew the 8 screws from the transparent lid.
4. Remove the transparent lid.
5. Then the lens will be removable.
6. Replace the lens, put them into their places carefully.
7. Screw back the transparent lid.
WARNING
• Designed for indoor use only. Do not use lamp in humid environment or outdoors.
• Do not expose lamp to direct sunlight or other radiating heat.
• Base and fixture are liable to natural heating while in operation. Never cover base or fixture while lamp is in use.
• Always disconnect lamp from power source if kept out of use for extensive periods.
• Always use identical spares for replacement (light tube).
• All servicing is to be undertaken by qualified personnel only.
• In case of defects, failure or damage-particularly if power cable is damage-power off and disconnect lamp immediately, and seek professional
assistance.
• If lamp will not work, check the power supply, the light tube.
• Use glass cleaning agent and a soft cloth to cleanse the lens. Do not scratch lens.
