INSTALLATION
1. Carefully remove the packaging material before installation, to prevent damage of the appliance or
the power cable. In case of any damage, it is forbidden to install it!
2. Unwind the wire from the wire storage at the bottom of the product, lead it to the side in one of
the drain grooves.
3. Place the product on a firm, horizontal surface!
4. Do not connect the appliance to the socket yet!
SETTING TEMPERATURE
The built-in thermostat measures the temperature at the bottom of the pot. The desired temperature
can be set between 30 – 100 °C, mechanically, without stages. The appliance maintains the set
temperature with ± 5 °C accuracy. If you not use the appliance, it is advisable to rotate the thermostat
completely to the left, OFF state.
SWITCH OFF TIMING
Functions of the mechanical timer:
1.
Automatic mode
– the appliance switches off after the set 20-120 minutes. To adjust it, rotate the
button fully right, then back, left to the desired operational time (minute).
2.
Continuous mode
– rotate the timer button fully left, to ON position. The appliance continuously
maintains the set temperature. This can be useful e.g. for keeping drinks warm.
PRESERVING
For conventional preserving, set the thermostat’s temperature to depending on the material, as shown
in the table below. Switch on the thermostat’s sound signal (6). As soon as the temperature has been
reached, the unit emits sound signal, which can be switched off. You can then set the cooking time, as
shown in the table. When the time expires, the device emits sound signal, which can be switched off.
You can then set the preserving time, also according to the table. When the time expires, the device
emits ringing sound, and heating switches off.
1.
Place the plastic grille to the bottom of the tank. •
2.

3.
Place the jars
on the grille. •
4.
Place the plastic cover on it. •
5.
Connect the device to a standard, grounded wall
outlet. •
6.
Select the temperature. •
7.
Set the preserving time after the thermostat beeps. •
8.
When
the appliance is heating, the indicator light is on. •
9.
Cooking is now done automatically. •
10.
When
the time expires, the appliance switches off and does not heat anymore, the indicator light goes out.
•
11.
Rotate the thermostat button completely left, to OFF position. •
12.

the power outlet.
PRESERVING TIPS
The most important thing is the purity of the raw materials, the clean preparation. Vegetable and
fruit must be fresh, ripe.
- Do not cut vegetables and fruit into pieces before cleaning. Clean them and let them dry.
- Green beans and peas will last longer, if we precook it for a while.
- Wash up the jars, cans and bottles thoroughly with hot water, then allow to dry.
- Wash up the caps with hot water and leave them in cold water until use.
- Do not use old or damaged caps.
- Fill the glass, bottles up to 2 cm under their neck. If you fill puree, e.g. apple sauce to the glass,
then leave 4 cm.
- For any sausage or frankfurter type, fill up only ¾ of the glass volume.
- Close the bottles tightly, immediately after filling them up.
- Always place the lower bottles on the plastic grille. You can also create a multilayered layout.
- In all cases, whether single-layer or multi-layer layout, the water level should only reach up to the ¾
height of the the top/highest glass. See the following figures:
- Do not fill more water to the tank than the maximal water level (
M
).
- It may take up to 1,5 hours to fully heat up the maximum amount.
- It’s more economical and faster if you only fill the tank up to 5 - 10 cm water level and sterilize with
steam. The water level should not be lower than the
O
mark. If the water needs to replaced, its heating
time does not count into the preserving time!
- The preservation time must be measured from when the total amount has reached the set tempera-
ture (the thermostat switches off).
- At the end of preservation, remove the jars, cans from the water and let them cool.
- Store the compotes in a dry, cool place protected against sunshine.
- We recommend for you to label the compotes with their contents and the preserving date.
PRESERVING REFERENCE TEMPERATURE, TIMES
The periods listed in the table below are indicative. Accurate preserving tips, recipes, procedures, e.g.
to preserve meat dishes can be found in books or in the internet.
PREPARING WARM DRINKS
With the appliance, you can make and/or keep warm e.g. tea, mulled wine, winter punch.
If you make or heat liquid which contains larger pieces (e.g. spices of mulled wine), then firstly insert
a cork plug to the outlet opening from inside, to not let it gum up.
With the practical drip-free tap, you can comfortably dispense drinks.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
General cleaning
1. Clean the appliance after each use.
2. Always switch off the appliance by rotating the thermostat and the timer to OFF position.
3. Pull out the power plug from the power outlet!
4. Allow the liquid in the tank to cool.
5. Lower the liquid on the tap.
6. Clean the inside of the tank with warm water, or if necessary with dish soap.
7. Thoroughly rinse the inside of the appliance with clean water.
8. Wipe the exterior of the device with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
9. Never immerse the appliance in water. No water should let inside the appliance, on the electric
components!
Cleaning the drain tap
Disassemble the tap by rotating the black, hexagon-headed plastic screw nut to left.
Remove the transparent, silicone plug, too. Wash the holes with hot water,
then assemble the tap.
Descaling the water tank
1. If necessary, descale the bottom of the water tank.
2. For this, prepare a solution by mixing 1 part 10% vinegar and 2 parts water.
3. Fill the solution to the tank so that it overlaps the descaled surface.
4. Heat up the solution to 60 °C, and leave it for 2 hours.
5. Rinse the appliance 2-3 times with clean water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Possible solution
The appliance does not heat the
