IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!
WARNINGS
• Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later
reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
• Place the scale on a solid, horizontal surface. • The maximum carrying capacity of the scale is 15 kg, including
the tare weight as well. • Protect the device from shocks, damp, dust, chemicals, extreme temperature changes,
electromagnetic fields, and direct heat radiation. • To protect the scale lifespan, do not expose it to too hot, wet
or cold weather circumstances. • This device belongs to the family of electric measuring instruments with high
accuracy, so please do not push or drop it, since it can cause the damage of the scale. • The product is only
intended to measure objects related to food, do not use for legal or commercial purposes. • In case the results
seem incorrect, please check the battery and its contacts. • Remove the battery when not planning to use it for
a longer period of time! • Immediately remove the depleted battery! Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or
used and new batteries together! Battery replacement can only be performed by an adult! Keep batteries out of
reach of children! • If there is some liquid flown out from the battery, take a protective glove, and clean the battery
holder with a dry cloth! • Warning! Risk of explosion in case of incorrect battery-replacement! It can be replaced
only by same or replacing type! Do not expose batteries to direct thermal radiation and sunshine! It is forbidden
to open, burn and short-circuit the batteries! Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged! Risk of explosion!

Keep away from children!
Remove the battery if you are not planning to use the product for an extended period of time. If there is
any liquid flown out from the battery, wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry
cloth. Immediately remove the depleted battery. Warning! Risk of explosion in case of incorrect battery
replacement! It can be replaced only with the same or a replacement type. Do not expose the batteries to
direct heat radiation and sunshine. It is forbidden to open them up, to throw them into fire or to short-circuit
them. Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged. Risk of explosion! Do not insert an accumulator
instead of the battery, because it provides significantly lower voltage and efficiency. Do not weld or solder
directly to the battery. Store unused batteries in their original packaging, away from metal objects. Do not
mix batteries which have already been unpacked.
INSTALLATION
1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale and insert 2 pcs 1,5 V (AAA) batteries,
then replace the cover of the battery compartment.
2. Place the scale on a solid, horizontal surface.
3. Touch the TARE button to switch on or off.
CLEANING
Use soft, slightly wet cloth to clean the surface of the scale. Never immerse the scale to water, or rinse under
running water. Do not use chemical cleaners. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners.
ERROR INDICATION
• If “LO” is visible on the display, the power of the battery is low, replace the battery as soon as possible.
