7.3.4.6 Light Analysis
The Light Analysis is used for the automatic detection of
TIB
(Time In Bed) and
Day
areas (see
chapter 6.7.2).

TIB Threshold [lm]
The recorded light values are compared with this threshold. If the recorded value is smaller or equal to
the preset threshold the area will be defined as
TIB
.
Min. TIB duration [min]
If a coherent TIB area is shorter than the preset duration the area will be changed to Day.
Min. Wake duration [min]
If a coherent Day area is shorter than the preset duration the area will be changed to
TIB
.
Min. NAP duration [min]
The NAP’s and the resulting Sleep Time during every single day will be shown in the circadian rhythm
report.
The duration of sleep areas during day detected by the Sleep Wake Analysis are compared to this
value. If the duration is longer than the value, the area will be defined as NAP and the duration will be
added to the sleep duration.
