7.9  Enabling DHCP Server Mode 

The 715PVW has an inbuilt DHCP server which you can use to 
assign IP addresses and TCP setup to your client computers. To 
enable DHCP server goto Configuration/DHCP server 

 

Make sure 

DHCP server 

is selected at the bottom and click 

Configure. 

The 

DHCP Server Setup 

screen will be presented; here you can 

change the IP assignment range to be anything you would like. 

 

Note!! The range must be in the same subnet as the IP address of 
the LAN port. 

You can extend the range or reduce it. You need to specify a 
default and maximum lease time e.g. you might want to use a 
default value of 12 hours (43200 seconds) and a max. value of 24
