. How to…

Solwise SAR715PV ADSL Ethernet Router User’s Guide

hours (86400 seconds). Other options such as the DNS server
entries can be set on this page. If you want the router to use the
DNS entries it receives from the ISP leave the Use Router as DNS
Server checkbox ticked. The Use Router as Default Gateway
should be ticked.

The Advanced Options can be used to change lease times and
control functions like allowing unknown clients, these should be left
at defaults unless you have specific reasons for changing them.

Click

Apply

to keep the settings.

When you’ve finished the configuration you must save the settings
and do a router restart.

7.10 Altering the configuration user name and password

Goto Configuration/Authentication…

First of all click on Create a new user…

On the next screen enter the new user details…

Remember to change the May login? to true to enable the new user
to login!

Then click on Create to set the new user…
