power up again. The “AUTO CLEANING” indicator flashes. The 5 minutes auto cleaning starts and the display
counts down. The 1T05 will give few beep sounds at the last minute of auto cleaning. The analyzer will then turn
off automatically after 1 minute and the cleaning process finishes. Before formal test, make sure no alcohol
residues left by blowing fresh air into the gas inlet.
2. Please notice that pressing the ON/OFF key at any time can easily terminate the auto-cleaning process.
3. To achieve an accurate reading, user should ensure there is no alcohol residue inside the chamber before
starting a new alcohol test. Perform a blank measurement. If the display shows “0.00”, everything is working
properly. Otherwise, briefly press the START button and then press and hold the BLOW button and blow clean air
into the device, or move it backwards and forwards quickly.
4. After any 4 consecutive tests, allow the device to rest for 2 minutes.
5. An “ERROR” flashes on the display for 5 seconds for the following improper operations:
•
When user does not hold the BLOW key for at least 5 seconds during blowing until a beep sound is heard.
•
When user fails to start the test within 5 seconds after “READY” flashes.
6. When the product is unused, please store in a dry environment.
7. When low battery inductor flashes, the reading is not valid, please replace the batteries immediately.
8. If the difference between two successive reading >0.1‰ BAC, user should test again.
9. 0.5‰ BAC = 0.05‰ BAC = 0.25mg/l (if the convection factor is 2.0)
Many factors (e.g. environment gas residue, smoke & various smell in human mouth, etc…) may affect the BAC level,
so the readings are for reference only.
