AINTAINING AND CLEANING THE DEVICE
To ensure the efficient
work of the device, it’s required to clean the filter from time to time –
also to change it after a long period of time. It is advised to clean the filter after 168 hours of
service
– depending on the quality of air. The device has an inbuilt time of service clock
which shows how long it has been working. After 168 hours of service the device stops
working and a red flashing light will appear on the interface.
(as described at Part
4.2.5.2.1).
1) Unplug the device.
2) While lifting the chimney, take the filter out of its case and place it in the water bowl.
Take the water bowl with the filter in it out of the bottom part.
3) Clean the water bowl with water and soap.
4) Clean the filter with water and soap (or use the washing machine
– you can wash the
filter together with other pieces of clothes)
5) Fill the water bowl and add the chosen admixtures.
6) Place the clean filter back to its case.

Part 4
.
After cleaning the filter and restarting the device you should reset the time of service
(as
described at Part 4.2.5.2.1)
. You can reset the time of service sooner than after 168 hours
– this is important when for some reason you have to clean the filter in less than 168 hours.
The lifetime of a filter is about 3-6 months.
This depends on air pollution, the frequency of filter cleaning and the way you wash the filter.
