Sokkia’s Long-Range Bluetooth technology enables communication of RTCM3 differential corrections between 

two GCX2 receivers over Bluetooth (up to 300 meters), eliminating the need for additional external radios for 

corrections. See “System Setup” on page 21.

Distance for long-range largely depends upon environmental and field conditions. 

USB Port Panel

The receiver is equipped with a USB 2.0 port for high-speed data transfer and communication between the 

receiver and an external device, for charging the internal battery, and for powering the receiver with an external 

power supply. See “Using Internal and External Power Sources” on page 11.
