Static Damage Precautions (ESD)
All work must be undertaken in a static safe environment. A suitable static safe wrist or shoe strap must be
worn at all times while handling the PCB assemblies. Any PCB’s removed from the unit must be placed on a
suitable static safe work surface.
Notes
Incorrect use of, or complete failure to use the appropriate anti-static protection may lead to immediate failure
of the equipment, or permanent damage that may reduce the life of the equipment. In such cases, the
Warranty will be rendered void.
WHEN THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE REQUIRED
Early Versions of the IQD1ADC Card
These instructions are only required under the
following circumstances:
1. It is required to change the Component input
format from YPbPr to RGB and the Supervisor
LX is fitted with an early version of the
IQD1ADC card.
2. It is required to change the external sync input
level from 0.3 V p-p to 2 V p-p
The early version of the IQD1ADC card may be
identified from the picture below.
Later Versions of the IQD1ADC Card
These instructions are only required under the
following circumstances:
1.
The Supervisor LX is fitted with the later
version of the IQD1ADC card and it is required
to change the external sync input level from
0.3 V p-p to 2 V p-p. (See page 5.4 item 9)
Note the later version of the card allows the
input format to be changed from YPbPr to RGB
under software control.
The later version of the IQD1ADC card may be
identified from the picture below.
