For Software Version Z5 onwards 4.28
Operating the HD5050 using the Remote
Control Panel
In general the menus and functions on the remote
panel follow the same structure as those for the
main unit front panel described in earlier in Section
4. The few exceptions are described below.
Display Functions
To adjust the display parameters (pan, siz, asp and
pos) press the Display pushbutton.
The User button allows toggling between user
display memories and display presets. If the User
button LED is illuminated the dual function buttons
(e.g. Full Height/User 1) are in user mode. If the
User button is not illuminated the dual function
buttons are in preset mode.
When the User button is first selected the LED will
flash and the LED for the currently selected display
will flash. If the unit was in user mode, pressing
any of the dual function buttons will select the
preset display for that button. If the unit was in
preset mode, pressing any of the dual function
buttons will select the user display for that button.
The LEDs stop flashing when a display mode is
correctly selected.
To store a user display hold down the HOME
button and press the appropriate dual function
button. A message will appear on the display
stating which display was stored.
Memory
The current unit settings can be saved to one of
four machine memories. Hold down the HOME
button and then press the desired memory button
(mem 1 to mem 4); a message will appear on the
display stating which memory was stored and the
indicator in the button will illuminate. To recall a
memory setting, just press the appropriate memory
button. When the status of the main unit does not
match the memory selected the indicator LED will
flash.
