The Powerfeed engagement lever allows
you to start the powerfeed for either the
longitudinal direction or the cross feed
direction. Moving this lever to the left 
and up will activate the power
longitudinal feed. Moving the lever to 
the right and down will activate the
power crossfeed.

The Powerfeed Engagement lever is
made to be be used while the spindle is
running.
