The EZ Switch 10/100 SMC-EZ1026DT is a 24-port Fast Ethernet 
switch. It has one slot on the front panel for optional slot-in 
1000BASE-T, 1000BASE-SX (SC-type), 100BASE-FX (SC-Type), or 
10BASE-T/100BASE-TX modules. The 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX 
ports deliver dedicated 10/100 Mbps links to each attached LAN 
segment. Ports 1-12 and 14-24 are MDI-X ports. Port 13 is 
configurable as an MDI or MDI-X port via a push-button switch.

Auto-negotiation is used to select the optimal transmission speed 
and communication mode for each connection. With 
store-and-forward switching and flow control, maximum data 
integrity is always maintained, even under heavy loading. 

This switch also provides advanced features that are configurable 
via a console port connection. A Windows-based utility allows the 
configuration of port parameters, fault-tolerant trunks, and VLAN 
port groups. You can also save any switch configuration to a file 
on the connected PC, and later download this configuration to 
restore the settings.
