Server IP
Once you have the correct APN details entered the final step is to enter the servers IP address to
enable it to communicate with your server.
Enter the main menu and select General , then enter the Network menu.
Once in the Network Setup settings you can
then enter your server IP address into
Server Addr and Intercom IP . Please note
that this will be your external IP address for
the server and not the local IP address.
If you do not know your external IP address
you can visit
http://www.whatismyip.com
to find your address.
If you do not have a static IP address with
your internet provider you can also use a
DDNS address. To enter your host name
details into the SVC MDVR you will need to
select Domain from the
Net Mode drop
down menu. You can then enter your host
name into the
Domain Name section
below.
