Each CPU complex consists of:
 One USB 2.0 port on face plate
 One common serial console interface on face plate
 One 1GbE interface connected to each PCH for MaxCore communication (i210)
 One M.2 socket supporting both SATA and PCIe (up to x4) SSDs
1.4 Software Overview
The software is delivered in the form of software components. These software components
contain necessary binaries, utilities, and tools to enable the PCIE-7217 card function as a
management CPU (mCPU) or an application CPU (aCPU) for upgrading firmware and for
media transcoding. Refer to
BIOS on page 77 and Software on page 95 for software related
information. Also refer to Appendix A on page 105 for a list of related documentation.
