Troubleshooting
Getting version information when Skybox Appliance Administration is unavailable
If you need to know the version of Skybox Appliance (the
image version) and other information
about Skybox Appliance when Skybox Appliance Administration is unavailable, run the
get_
appliance_details
script from the CLI.

Hardware issues
If there is a hardware issue on Skybox Appliance (usually indicated by the system status LED
turning amber or blinking), a directory,
LogFiles
, is created at the location that the sysinfo
command is invoked from. This directory contains the diagnostic log files.
1. As the root user (not sudo), run the command:
sysinfo
.
The
LogFiles
directory is created in the location that the sysinfo command was invoked
from. This directory contains the diagnostic log files.
2. Open a support case and attach the (most recent) diagnostic file.
