Storage and Transport
Transport in original packaging only, store in a dry and cool place.

Care instructions
Just clean the device unit with a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution. Dry cleaning, aggressive detergents
and abrasives may damage the surface.

Modification
A modification (alteration or conversion) of the HT4600 indoor station is not allowed.

Safety
Electrical shock hazard to persons. Danger of burns, damage to device and malfunctions.
VDE 0100 and VDE 0800 guidelines must be complied during installation. (Germany)
Counter measures:

Before beginning any work, deactivate and disconnect all energized electrical wires.

Secure the switched off/disconnected lines against erroneous reconnection.

Use a measuring device to make sure that the wires are de-energized.

Cover up any adjacent, energized or conducting components.

All work and all electrical connections must comply with the national provisions for the country in question and
must be performed by appropriately trained personnel.
Mounting, installation, reparation and initial setup must be carried out by qualified elec
-
tricians only! When working on systems with 230 V alternating voltage the safety require-
ments of DIN VDE 0100 must be complied with.
The SKS planning guide (can be downloaded from www.sks-kinkel.de) must be followed during installation!
3 General information on the 2-wire BUS

The loop resistance from the distribution towards the indoor station can have a maximum of 8Ω.
✓
From the distribution to the door station the loop resistance must not be higher than 6Ω.
✓
The BUS voltage must be between 19 and 26 V.
✓
For the BUS lines and also for all other functions shown twisted pair cables should be used. We do recommend
cable types JY(St) Y and G51 in 0,8 mm

. If needed and in case that more than one shields are joined the
shields have to be connected to PE to statically ground them to avoid interferences in transmission/crosstalk.
