Transporting
To avoid injury, follow all instructions below:
Unplug the electric cord and wind it up.
Never lift the scroll saw by the power
cord. Attempting to lift or carry the tool by
the power cord will damage the insula-
tion and the wire connections, resulting
in electric shock or fire.
Never lift the scroll saw by gripping any
of the mechanism parts. The saw may
unexpectedly move and cause severe
injuries to your fingers or hands.
Before lifting the scroll saw, make sure
that the scroll saw has completely
stopped after operation.
Only lift the scroll saw by gripping the support surfaces of the saw. (Fig. 35)
To avoid back injury, hold the tool close to your body when lifting. Bend your knees so
you can lift with your legs, not with your back.
Storage
Store the scroll saw in such a way as to prevent it from the potential hazards of moisture, con-
tamination, and other damage.
