Turning saw ON/OFF (Fig. 25)
Safety Key
To turn the scroll saw ON, insert the safety key into the switch housing. As a safety fea-
ture, the switch cannot be turned ON without the safety key.
To lock the switch in the OFF position, remove the safety key from the switch. Store the
key in a safe place.
Power switch
When the safety key is inserted:
Pull up the lever of the switch to power the saw ON. The power indicator will light red.
Push the lever of the switch to power the saw OFF. The power indicator will turn off.
Foot pedal control switch
When the power switch is ON:
Press the foot pedal control switch to “I” position, the scroll saw will start working auto-
matically (foot pedal is disabled).
Press the foot pedal control switch to “O” position, the scroll saw will stop working. At
this time, step on the foot pedal to start the saw, and release the foot pedal to stop the
saw.
For convenient operation, you may hang the foot pedal or snap it into the foot pedal storage
when not in use or mount the foot pedal onto a stable surface as needed.

Variable speed dial (Fig. 26)
The scroll saw is equipped with a variable
speed dial. The blade stroke rate may be ad-
justed by simply rotating the dial.
To increase speed,
rotate dial clock-
wise.
To reduce speed,
ro
tate dial counter-
clockwise.
