Universal Pump Service Manual

Diagrams/Part Description for Figure 1

Use only SKC-approved parts to ensure reliable performance. Failure to do so voids UL Listing for
intrinsic safety and any warranty.

LCD

: Displays indicators for all sampler functions.

Low Compensation (Pot A):

Adjusts factory-set ﬂ ow compensation. Access screw helps reduce accidental contact or

tampering.

High Compensation (Pot B):

Adjusts factory-set ﬂ ow compensation. Access screw helps reduce accidental contact or

tampering.

ON/OFF Switch:

Allows the pump to be shut down completely.

Anti-tamper Cover:

Protects controls from accidental contact or tampering.

Cover Screw:

Fastens anti-tamper cover.

Flow Adjust Potentiometer:

Adjusts pump ﬂ ow from 1000 to 5000 ml/min.

Accessory Mounting Screws (2):

Secure accessories such as an impinger and trap holder.

Filter Housing (intake):

Air intake port and trap.

Filter Housing Screws (4):

Secure ﬁ lter housing.

Filter O-ring:

Leak seal for ﬁ lter in housing.

Filter (10 micron, nylon):

Filters particulates before airﬂ ow enters pump.

Built-in Flowmeter:

Monitors ﬂ ow changes (not a primary standard ﬂ owmeter).

Regulator Pressure Adjustment Cap:

Accesses regulator pressure adjust screw.

Discharge Air Cap Screw:

Accesses exhaust port.

Regulator Shutoﬀ Cap Screw:

Accesses regulator isolation valve.

Ba" ery Pack Screws (2):

Secures pack to front case.

Pump Case Screw (4)

. Secures back case to front case.

Ba" ery Pack:

Provides power to pump.

Charging Jack:

Connector for ba# ery charger.

Belt Clip:

Secures pump to worker.
