4.3 Electrical Requirements
Ensure the electrical system in the installation premises complies with the safety standards in
force. The system and the power cord must be adequate for the power installed.
Check the characteristics of the electrical power supply is compatible with the machine, see the
values on the plate and in this manual 2.4.
The machine can be connected to the ground distribution system used in the intended country
(TT, TN or IT).
For electrical connections, it is good practice to abide by installation rules for the preparation
and start-up of electrical systems (refer to standard CEI 64-8 (IEC 364)).
Upstream of the machine, and only to service it, a power supply socket should
be installed protected by a type A differential switch dimensioned for the
voltage values and the differential current not exceeding 30mA;
the rated current of the socket must be equal to 16 A.
Connection of the machine to the power outlet is done using a power cord with a Schuko plug.
Make sure the outlet comes protected with suitable protection against overcurrents with rated
current intervention under 16A and shut-off power equal at least to the fault current in the
installation point.
The intervention curve of the differential switch is outlined below.
The effects are normally not perceived.
The harmful effects from a medical point of view are normally not yet present.
