TS-One Manual for use and maintenance

4 INSTALLATION

The personnel involved in the operations of machine installation must be qualified, have

adequate technical training and experience to be able to perform the different operations with

sufficient skill.

4.1 Transportation and Set-Up

Pay utmost attention in all stages of hoisting, moving and positioning the machine.

Transport and storage conditions:

Temperature: +5°C/+40°C

Humidity: up to 50% at the maximum temperature of +40°C

Atmospheric pressure: operation of the press is guaranteed up to 1000 m asl

The press is shipped in cardboard containers with the base platen and the pressing plate

disassembled from the central upright arms.

Handle the package with care using adequate means of transportation. The total weight is

printed on the outside of the packaging.

Note that, once the press is assembled, it has a weight over 25 Kg, it must be lifted by two

people; lifting by the stand or the arm. Do not lift the press using the plates for leverage.

For the most ergonomic use, place the press on a surface at a height of

approximately 80 cm, with an adequate space for complete opening of the

plate which also facilitates its cooling (at least 50 cm around the body of the

press).

The machine comes equipped with a solid stand and will not vibrate or move in any way that

could endanger its stability.

The operator may assess whether to fasten the base using the holes present.

Select a stable and sturdy surface on which to place the machine.

Re-assemble the detached platens by referring to the drawings of the parts of the press in

chapter 9.
