Cellular Antenna Connector

A female SMA antenna connector is provided to allow connection of a passive antenna.
For optimum performance the antenna assembly connected to this modem is required
to have the following characteristics:

For 2G GSM operation specified operation in the following bands:
850/900/1800/1900MHz

»

For 4G LTE Cat 1, LTE Cat 4, LTE Cat M, LTE Cat NB IoT operation specified
operation in the following bands: 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100MHzMHz

»

The characteristic impedance on any antenna or cable assembly attached to this
modem should be 50 ohms

»

The antenna must be capable of handling a minimum of 2W output power

»

The VSWR should be less than 3:1 to avoid damage to the modem
