System Settings
To change the administrator's password
1.
Type the new password in the boxes labeled
Root password
and
Confirm password
.
The maximum length of the password is 14 characters. This input is displayed as dots
for security purposes.
2.
Click
Save
.
The web browser will ask the administrator for the new password for continued access.

user
To add a user
1.
Click
User management
in the left-hand column as shown in figure 5.2.
2.
In the
New User
section, type the new user's name and password.
3.
Set the user's permissions by checking the boxes labeled
System
,
Steaming
, and
Camera
as appropriate.
These permissions are described in section 5.2.3. Permission to view the Home page
and operate its controls is granted to all users by default.
4.
Click
Add
to add the new user.
The new user will be displayed in the user name list.

User names and passwords are limited to 16 characters in length. This
camera supports a maximum of twenty user accounts.

The Siqura BC2x/FD2x series of cameras support four permissions:
Home

System

Streaming

Camera
.
Home
This permission is always enabled for all users.
System
This privilege is intended for administrative use only and includes rights to all the
configuration settings on the System page (those described in Section 5 of this manual).
Camera
The Camera functions, described in section 7, Camera Settings, allow the user to edit the
parameters on the Camera page.
Streaming
The Streaming functions allow the user to modify the video and audio parameters as
described in section 6, Video and Audio Streaming.
