  Make sure that lateral guardrail is installed and bolts are screwed tightly. 

 

Check hydraulic oil level 

 
 
 

Keeping appropriate hydraulic oil level is essential for the machine. Inappropriate  hydraulic oil 

level will cause damage to hydraulic components. Inspectors can monitor change of hydraulic oil 

level through routine inspections and this kind of change may indicate problems with hydraulic 

system. 

 

Follow procedure below when machine is stowed. 

1.  Check oil level gauge on the side of hydraulic oil tank with your eyes. 

Results: The hydraulic oil level should be under ‘Full’ mark on the gauge. 

 

2.  Fill in oil as needed. Do NOT overfill.

Check battery 

 
 
 

Battery condition is critical to engine performance and safe operation.    Inappropriate electrolyte 

liquid level and damaged cables and wiring can result in damage of engine components and then 

hazardous situations. 

 

  Risk of electric shock Contact with live circuit could  result in death or 

serious body injury. Take off all rings, watches and personal adornments. 

 

  Risk of body injury Battery contains acid. Prevent acid in battery from 

spilling over and keep away from the acid. Use soda water to neutralize 

acid spilt over. 

 

 

Carry out the following procedures after the battery is fully charged. 

 

 

 

1

  Wear protective clothing and goggles. 

2

  Be sure that the battery cable connections are free of corrosion. 

3

  Be sure that the battery hold-down and cable connections are tightly connected. 

Terminal protectors and anti-corrosion sealant will help eliminating 
corrosion to battery terminals and cable.
