Turning the Iron On and Off
• To turn the iron on, plug the iron into a grounded electrical outlet. The green
Temperature Indicator Light will glow.
• To cool, turn the Temperature Control Dial counterclockwise until it stops.
• To turn the iron completely off, unplug from the grounded electrical outlet.
NOTE: Never yank the cord to disconnect from outlet. Always grasp plug and
pull to disconnect.
Selecting the Temperature
• To turn the iron on, plug the iron into a grounded electrical outlet. The green
Temperature Indicator Light will glow.
• To begin heating, turn the Temperature Control Dial clockwise to the
appropriate temperature (

). The Temperature Indicator Light
will turn red when heating.
• When the selected temperature is reached, the Temperature Indicator Light
will turn green.
