The
Open Hybrid SMART
appliance is equipped with an electri-
cal panel to which the following cables have been wired in the
factory:
– Low Temperature System Pump Cable (PI)
– Domestic Hot Water Pump Cable (PS)
– Heat Pump Diverter Valve Cable (VD)
– Connection Cable to Remote Control

– DHW Adjustment Sensor Cable (B1)
– Low Temperature zone Sensor Cable (B3)
– OpenTherm Cable (OT) to be connected to the boiler termi-

Electrical connections
2.8.1 Connection to the mains
The
Open Hybrid SMART
appliance and the
Heat Pump
must be
connected to the mains network
independently
in compliance
with the applicable technical Regulations and national and lo-
cal legislation in force.

WARNING
Each connection to the mains network must:
– Use an omnipolar cut-off switch
– Disconnect switch, in compliance with EN Stan-
dards
– Respect the connections L (Live) - N (Neutral)
– Connect the earth wire to an effective earthing sy-
stem. The manufacturer is not responsible for any
damage caused by failure to earth the appliance or
failure to observe the information provided in the
wiring diagrams.
– The connection between the heat pump and the
boiler must be carried out with isolated wires,
with a minimum recommended cross-section of
0.75mm2. Thirteen wires are required for the con-
nections (see
“Electrical wiring diagram” on page
17
).
