4 .5 .1 Chimney sweep function
(fig . 21)
To check the boiler’s combustion, hold
down the installer button (

) for a few
seconds. The chimney
sweep function will run for 15 minutes.
The boiler will run at maximum power and
turn off at 80°C and then back on again at
70°C
(IMPORTANT: Unprotected low tem-
perature systems may overheat . Before
you enable the chimney sweep function,
make sure the radiator valves and any
zone valves are open) .
The test can be carried out also in hot
water mode. To run the test, simply draw
hot water from one or more taps after acti-
vating the chimney sweep function. In this
condition, the boiler will operate at maxi-
mum power with the hot water controlled
between 60°C and 50°C. The hot water taps
must remain open during the test. During
the 15 minutes for which the chimney
sweep function runs, pressing the buttons (

and

) sets the boiler to maximum/
minimum power respectively.
The chimney sweep function automatical-
ly turns off after 15 minutes when the
button (

) is pressed again .
4 .5 .2 Screed drying function
(fig . 22)
The screed drying function keeps the floor
at a set temperature
and is only enabled
in systems with the MIX ZONE kit code
8092275/76
.
The temperature profiles can be selected
by setting installer parameter PAR 43:
0 = Function disabled
1 = Curve A
2 = Curve B
3 = Curve A+B
The function can be disabled by pressing
the OFF button (resets PAR 43 to 0) or
automatically when the function times out.
The mixed zone setpoints follow the
selected curve and do not exceed 55°C.
When the function is active, all heating
requests are ignored (heating, DHW,
anti-freeze and chimney sweep). During
the procedure, the display will show the
remaining number of days the function will
run (e.g. main digits -15 = the function will
run for another 15 days). The graph in fig.
22 shows the curves.
WARNING:
- Follow the instructions of the floor
installer .
- The procedure will work properly
only if the circuits have been correctly
installed (water circuit, electrical sys-
tem, components)! Failure to follow
the above instructions may damage the
floor!
