Initial start-up
The following phases must be completed in sequence:

Check that the pressure of the water distribution network to which the appliance must be connected does not exceed 4.5 bar. If it
does, install a pressure reducer on the delivery circuit.

Check that the pH value of the water lies between 6.5 and 7.5. If not, install a dosing pump to correct the pH value.

Carefully monitor the temperature of the water inside the calorifier, which must not exceed 95°C.

Carefully monitor the operating pressure which must be maximum 10 bar for fixed heat exchangers and for vitrified calorifiers
for DHW use (see “4.1.3 Dimensions and fittings” to page 48).

Install an expansion vessel having a volume equal to 4% of the rated capacity of each circuit to which the calorifier must be con-
nected (solar, DHW, primary circuits).

Install the relevant safety valves and non-return valves designed for these types of systems on the calorifier.
