“BS 1S” vertical calorifiers
2.1.1
Description of the appliance
Made of S235JR carbon steel with vitrification treatment in accordance with the DIN 4753 standard, these calorifiers are equipped
with a fixed coil and operate at a maximum pressure of 10 bar. The outer surface of the calorifier is covered with a 50 mm-thick layer
of rigid polyurethane for models with 200 l to 500 l capacity, 70 mm-thick for 750 l and 1000 l models, and made of flexible expanded
polyurethane (Th. 105 mm) for calorifiers with 1500 l and 2000 l capacity, and flexible expanded polyurethane (Th. 100 mm) for calo-
rifiers with 2500 l and 3000 l capacity. Models with capacity up to 700 litres are lined with sky, while the others have a PVC sheath. All
models are equipped with a thermometer and anode.
