7.1.3.2 Changing the operating mode
(AUTOMATIC, ECONOMY and
OVERBOOST)
7.1.3.2.1 AUTOMATIC mode
To manually start AUTOMATIC mode, do as follows:
 Make sure that the keypad is not locked
(section 7.1.3.3) and that there are no
advanced procedures running;
 Press the button and hold for 1 second,
the flashing code “Eco” then appears;
 Press the or buttons once or multiple
times until the flashing code “ Auto ” appears
on the display;
 Then press the button again to confirm
and start AUTOMATIC mode.
To exit the procedure:
 Press the button to exit without changing
the operating mode.
7.1.3.2.2 ECO (economy) mode
To manually start ECO mode, do as follows:
 Make sure that the keypad is not locked
(section 7.1.3.3), that there are no advanced
procedures running and that the appliance is
not in Overboost mode;
 Press the button and hold for 1 second,
the flashing code “Aut” then appears;
 Press the or buttons once or multiple
times until the flashing code “ ECO ” appears on
the display;
 Then press the button again to confirm
and start ECONOMY mode.
To exit the procedure:
 Press the button to exit without changing
the operating mode.
7.1.3.2.3 OVERBOOST mode
To manually start OVERBOOSTmode, do as follows:
 Make sure that the keypad is not locked
(section 7.1.3.3) and that there are no other
advanced procedures running;
 Press the button and hold for 1 second,
the flashing code “Eco” or “Auto” then
appears;
 Press the or buttons once or multiple
times until the flashing code “ ObSt ” appears
on the display;
 Then press the button again to confirm
and start OVERBOOST mode.
To exit the procedure:
 Press the button to exit without changing
the operating mode.
7.1.3.3 Locking/releasing the keypad
To lock the keypad, do as follows:
 Ensure that there is no other advanced
procedure running;
 Press and hold the button and the
button for 1 second: “ Loc ” shows on the
display for 1 second.
If the keypad is locked, no operation can be
performed on the display interface.
If you press any button, “ Loc ” is shown on the
screen for 1 second.
To release the keypad:
 Press and hold the button and the
button for 1 second: “ UnL ” shows on the
display for 1 second.
7.1.3.4 Setting the temperature in ECO mode
(SP1)
 Make sure that the keypad is not locked
(section 7.1.3.3) and that there are no other
advanced procedures running;
 Press and release the button: “ SP1 ” shows
on the display;
 Press and release the button: the
compressor LED flashes;
 Press and release the button or the
button within 15 seconds. Please also see
parameters r3, r4 and r5;
 Press and release the button or do not
operate the appliance for 15 seconds: the
compressor LED switches off;
 Press and release the button.
To exit the procedure before completion:
 Do not touch the display for 15 seconds (any
changes are saved).
7.1.3.5 Setting the temperature in Automatic
mode (SP2)
 Make sure that the keypad is not locked
(section 7.1.3.3) and that there are no other
advanced procedures running;
 Press and release the button: “SP1” shows
on the display;
 Press and release the button or the
button until you see “ SP2 ”;
 Press and release the button: the
compressor LED flashes;
 Press and release the button or the
button within 15 seconds. Please also see
parameters r1, r2 and r5;
 Press and release the button or do not
operate the appliance for 15 seconds: the
compressor LED (
) switches off;
 Press and release the button.
To exit the procedure before completion:
 Do not touch the display for 15 seconds (any
changes are saved).
